OMICLON helped J.P. Morgan Asset Management migrate its websites to FundWorks’ CMS and enhance the experience with the new integrated Fund Explorer.
Financial services have traditionally approached the web as a threat: not a source of competitive advantage but the carrier of significant risk. We can show how the web is actually a unique opportunity for financial institutions to open revenue channels, improve client retention and streamline processes.
Using the web services provided by financial services organisations can be a frustrating, even daunting process. Jargon and incompatible platforms can create confusion. The nature of the business demands high levels of security which may create usability problems. We believe that most organisations can benefit from a holistic view of their digital user experience – whether in small, tactical steps or large, strategic redesigns.
Developing financial web services is a multi-layered undertaking. Our experience shows that developing prototypes to test and refine your ideas can improve stakeholder buy-in and facilitate the communication process between project teams. Additionally, we understand that users' experience is heavily influenced by their browser, so it's essential to embrace standards and optimise code to cater for all browsers and systems.
